I use a mixture of 1/3 Galkyd, 1/3 Linseed Oil, and 1/3 Gamsol when I paint with oils. Gamsol is an odorless paint thinner and cleaning brushes. It’s safer for artists, paintings and the environment compared to turpentine or mineral spirits.
