  1. So glad I found this podcast. I have been following your account on instagram for awhile but I have to admit this is the first time I visited your site! I am looking forward to all of the upcoming topics you cover.

    This year, I left a stressful job working as a graphic designer at an advertising agency in search of a more simple, healthy and rewarding life. I quickly became invested in learning about how wholesome foods can impact overall well-being and this has sparked my passion for gardening and food preservation. After leaving my job, I spent 5 months traveling across the US to work on organic farms. Rather than trying to sort through the massive amounts of misinformation online, I wanted to get in on the ground level and see first hand how people are working towards building their own healthy self-sufficient lives.

    I am glad to see people having informed conversations about the importance of real food and holistic living. Your post came at a great time for me as I am considering a future career change towards something involving holistic nutrition and I guess what I’m trying to say is…thank you for doing what you do and being an advocate for these important issues. It makes me hopeful that I can figure out a path that will work for me and my passions! I still have time, I am 26. 🙂

    1. That’s great. Check out The Nutritional Therapy Association’s program as well as getting your RD. There are benefits to both – it all depends on what your education level is in real food and what you’d like to do with your career.
