Yoga, Meditation & Whole30 in January!

I love yoga, try my best to meditate (I’m not very good) and am super excited to announce that I’m partnering again with my favorite yoga studio in Concord, Massachusetts in January for a month of wellness. Last year was a huge success and we’re adding even more for 2019!
From January 1st – 31st, enjoy unlimited yoga, daily meditation practice, and eat REAL FOOD to help you start 2019 off right.

We will explore 4 themes: PRESENCE, BALANCE, STRENGTH & GRATITUDE. We will look at ways in which these themes show up in our lives and ways in which they don’t but could with some attention.
DAILY YOGA: Included in the cost of the program is an UNLIMITED 31 Day class pass to On the Mat (Jan 1-31). We have yoga classes for every level, age and body type. Please check out our January SCHEDULE online so you can get a sense of the classes. Because, we realize that you may not be able to show up at the yoga studio every day, Ramsay will be sharing weekly short 15-minute themed practices that you can do in the comfort of your own home. The idea is that you make time each day to get on your mat, away from technology and your to-do list, to focus on yourself.
DAILY MEDITATION: We will get you started with a daily practice. We start slow with 5 minutes a day. We build the time from there. Many believe that meditating can change the make up of your mind. Last spring, the Harvard Gazette wrote about how meditation is being used to combat depression. Psychology Today gives us “20 Reasons to Start Meditating Today”. The effects of sitting every day for 5-15 minutes are profound for most people.  Find out how meditating daily can change your life for the better.
HEALTHY EATING: Under the guidance of Diana Rodgers, a yogi, a “real foods” nutritionist and a certified Whole30 coach, we we will enjoy healthy, whole foods. We will support each other as we stay away from sugar and alcohol. We will eat moderate portions of meat, seafood, and eggs; lots of vegetables; some fruit; plenty of natural fats; and herbs, spices, and seasonings. How will it make you feel? We predict you will have more energy, you will sleep better and be more focused. You can check out Diana’s website at www.sustainabledish.com. Diana will be offering weekly live, interactive group discussions on line (via Facebook) to check in and answer questions. In addition, she will offer daily recipes and other tips to make the Whole30 work for you. If you are a vegetarian, Whole30 has suggestions and plans for you as well. This is not a planned weight loss diet. This is about having a healthier relationship to food and how it makes you feel. Please purchase the Whole30 book for reference.  If you do not want to follow the Whole30, there is another option. You can join us by focusing on eliminating sugar and alcohol from your diet for the month.
