HOW WE WORK
During your initial 50 minute consultation, we listen to your goals, discuss your health history, analyze any recent nutrition-related labs, and review your three-day food journal. We’ll also discuss lifestyle issues like sleep, stress, and movement. Together we will come up with a custom diet and lifestyle plan that works for you. Follow-up appointments are 20-minutes long. You can book one, three and six-month packages.
Our office is in Concord, Massachusetts and also we offer distance consultations via phone or HIPPA compliant video chat for clients who are not local to me and for local follow-up appointments. Each one, three or six month package client will be set up with an account via our nutrition portal, where we can communicate, track food intake, and set goals between appointments.
What’s the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Health Coach or Nutritional Therapy Consultant? Joanna and I both have graduate medical degrees in nutrition and have completed 1200 hours of supervised clinical rotations in hospitals and outpatient settings. Dietitians are qualified to practice medical nutrition therapy, meaning we can prescribe a diet for a medical condition, can work with your doctor as part of your medical care team, and can bill insurance for services. Other coaching certifications generally do not require any formal education or supervised internship. When considering a nutrition provider, please ask about their training.
We are covered under most insurance carriers, so please feel free to check with us to see if our services are covered under your plan.
Best for those just needing a few changes to their overall healthy diet. Includes the initial consult plus 2 follow up appointments.
Best for clients looking to lose weight or who have digestive health issues. Includes the initial consult plus 6 bi-weekly follow up appointments.
Best for those who are looking to lose significant weight or are on a longer journey to better health. Includes the initial consult plus bi-weekly check-ins and emails through your transformation to better health.
In addition to the above packages, we also offer…
One-Hour Nutrition Consultation ($149) For those not ready to sign up for a nutrition package, we offer a stand-alone, initial one-hour consult where we review your medical history, current food intake, your sleep, movement and other lifestyle factors that could be influencing your health. We discuss your specific goals and together, we develop a plan to achieve them. Follow-up appointments are $105 for 45-minutes, and you may schedule them as frequently or spaced apart as you like. These visits can be done in my office or virtually. Contact us for more information.
Ask Me Anything Call ($125): These are 45-minute phone calls we do with people who are looking to simply ask questions and get some tips on food, supplements and lifestyle issues. Does not include any analysis of food journal, labs or follow up appointments. We also offer these calls to people looking to change careers and aren’t sure which nutrition program is best for them, and I consult with natural food companies to offer marketing advice. Book an Ask Me Anything appointment today.
Refer a family member or friend and you will receive a free follow-up check in, plus they will get 10% off their service package.
Gift certificates are also available.
Ready to get started on your health transformation?
My energy came soaring back and the need for the 3:00 fix disappeared.
“After reviewing my food log and lab tests, Diana had me increase both my carbohydrate (sweet potatoes, beets, potatoes) intake and also increase my fat intake, healthy fats of course. She also recommended certain supplements to help address some underlying issues. My energy came soaring back and the need for the 3:00 fix disappeared. My energy level also stays constant throughout my workouts and I’ve achieved some new lifetime personal records at the age of 46.”
