This week I have a fun guest post by my friend Ciarra Colacino from The Colacino Kitchen.
She recently shared her Gin and Ginger Kombucha Mule that I thought was wonderful. It fits well with my monthly theme: drink better, sleep better, feel better. I know that many people tend to over consume alcohol leading to poor sleep. This recipe lets you get your kick without as much of the negative side effects.

Recipe:
Makes one cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of preferred gin
- ginger kombucha (about 1 cup)
- 2 lime wedges
- a slice or two of peeled ginger root
- crushed ice
Instructions:
1. Fill a copper mug with crushed ice.
2. Add a shot of your preferred gin, a slice of peeled ginger root, and two lime wedges (I like to give them a squeeze first so the lime flavor has more presence).
3. Fill to the chilly brim with ginger kombucha, swirl to combine, and serve frosty cold.
